From an e-mail from Tina Benson: Visitation for Dad will be on Sunday night from 7-9PM at Marks Funeral Home. The Funeral service will be on Monday at 11AM at First Presbyterian Church. Graveside service will follow. The women of the church are providing a dinner following all services for "out of towners". If you plan to attend, please let me know, so I can include you in the "head-count". From an e-mail from Rodney Benson: Dear Cousins, Just in case you had not heard the news, Dad passed away this morning around 10:30AM down in Naples, Florida. As I send this, funeral arrangements are being finalized. We expect him to be flown from Florida to NC on or before Saturday with services at the First Presbyterian Church on Sunday Sept 26. Burial with military honors will be at the Richmond Memorial Park. Dad would have been 85 years of age this coming April. Marks Funeral Home will be in charge of the local arrangements. We expect visitation for family and friends to be Saturday PM. Please pass the word on to any interested parties. Love to all, Rodney
