With a lot of help from family members, both close and distant, I've been able to trace my Andrews ancestors back to the late 1700's
to Brunswick County, VA.
I give thanks and credit to family members, near and distant, for most of the pictures here. My mother had a collection. and a few came from
distant cousins that I met over the internet while searching for information, as they were. I'm especially grateful to James and Gretta Saunders and Deborah Gable
for sharing some of the earliest photos with me. Mom's Aunt Lucille Richardson allowed me to copy some of her photo collection also, and to her
I give thanks.
I'll constantly be adding other photos to the ones here as I further develop this website, and as I am able to acquire more photos. If any viewers of this site have any photos that they would like to share with me and the visitors to this website, please e-mail me here and attach them with a description and I will be happy to add them to the site with recognition for the submitter.
The photos below are not organized in any particular order. There is a link by each one that will take you to the family sheet of that person to give you their relationship. Click on the thumbnail image to see a larger picture of that individual.
This is my Great-Great Grandfather Seth Andrews with two of his Grandchildren. He served in the War Between the States. Read an article about him here written by Atty Paul Whitlock, a distant relative of Seth. Seth's Civil War service notes are here.
This is a picture of my Great Grandfather William Cleveland Andrews and Great Grandmother Mollie Elizabeth (Porter) Andrews. Daughter Hellen, son William Seth and Mary Jane, the dog.
Thanks to James & Gretta Saunders for the photo.
This is an earlier photo of Seth Andrews (far right). His son William Cleveland (left) with his children Frank and Irene, James Ambus (middle) with two of his childrem.
