Stewart PlotThis is the large stone indicating the Stewart Family Plot at Antioch Presbyterian Church in Hoke County. Grandfather's Uncle Joseph Cleveland ("Cleve") Stewart is buried here, as is his wife, and one of his sons.
Joseph Cleveland Stewart HeadstoneHeadstone of Joseph Cleveland Stewart. "Cleve", as my Uncles called him, was an uncle of my Grandfather Bert Stewart. Cleve is buried in the Stewart plot of Antioch Presbyterian Church Cemetery on Hwy 211 in Hoke County.
Headstone of Eva (Pate) StewartHeadstone of Eva (Pate) Stewart. Eva was the wife of Joseph Cleveland ("Cleve") Stewart. Cleve was my Grandfather Bert Stewart's Uncle. Eva is buried in the Stewart Plot of the Antioch Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Headstone of Roy StewartHeadstone of Roy Stewart. Roy was a son of Joseph Cleveland ("Cleve") and Eva (Pate) Stewart. Cleve was an Uncle of my Grandfather Bert Stewart. Roy is buried in the Stewart Plot of Antioch Presbyterian Church on Hwy. 211 between Raeford and Red Springs in Hoke County, NC. Roy was also married to his wife Essie May at this church. Roy's wife, Essie May Herring has been kind enough to share years of family research with me, which led me to the burial place of Cleve and his family. Essie and her son Henry both plan to be interned here next to Cleve, Eva and Roy.
Headstone of B.F. & Ella MorganHeadstone of Benjamin and Ella Genrette Morgan. Benjamin was a brother of my G-G-Grandmother Delia Elizabeth (Morgan) Stewart. Delia was married to my G-G-Grandfather Arnold Wesley Stewart. Benjamin and Ella are buried in the Morgan Cemetery in the woods off Crawford Lake Rd. in Scotland County.

Headstone of Bertha MorganHeadstone of Bertha Morgan, a niece of my G-G-Grandmother Delia Elizabeth (Morgan) Stewart. Bertha was a daughter of Delia's brother Benjamin. Bertha is buried with her parents in the Morgan Cemetery in the woods off Crawford Lake Rd. in Scotland County, NC.
Headstone of D. E. MorganHeadstone of D. E. Morgan. David was the father of my G-G-Grandmother Delia Elizabeth Morgan, the wife of my G-G-Grandfather Arnold Wesley Stewart. David is buried in the old Morgan Cemetery located in the woods off Crawford Lake Road in Scotland County. David's grave is the oldest in the cemetery, and it was his old homeplace that was located on the property with the Morgan Cemetery. I recall Grandpa (Bert) talking about visiting his Grandma (Delia Morgan) Stewart at the old homeplace on this property adjoining the cemetery when he was a young boy. There's no sign left of the old home place.

She was a daughter of William and Jesse Morgan; William was a son of Benjamin F. and Ella Genrette Morgan. Benjamin was a brother of my G-G-Grandmother Delia Elizabeth Morgan. Edith is also buried in the Morgan Cemetery off Crawford Lake Road in Scotland County, NC.
